Lead Salesforce Business Analyst

Our client is looking for a Lead Salesforce Functional Analyst for their Salesforce Platform. This is a position with high visibility and large levels of responsibility. The BA responsibilities include: gathering requirements, business process analysis, primarily managing all intake and assess the feasibility, performing end-to-end cross-discipline leadership throughout the software development lifecycle. Also accountable for on-time, high quality software project deliveries, including Analysis, Design, Development and Quality Assurance.

  • Collaborate with counterparts in IT (project, development, QA managers) and development resources to create and validate business requirements and project specification documents

  • Responsible for management and documentation of complex multi-disciplined CRM projects.

  • Lead staff and vendors through engagements, support the development of subject matter expertise, thought leadership and strategic capability by delivering a wide range of customer management solutions

  • Owns the analysis and documentation of complex Business process along with it’s components (e.g., integration, security, custom development)

  • Leads and facilitates discovery and scoping sessions with clients documenting all key business requirements

  • Articulate to customer stakeholders the value of recommended solutions and approach

  • Understands client business process and potential constraints to define optimal and reasonable project scope and expectations

  • Incorporates past experience, business savvy, creative and out-of-the-box thinking in solutions working with Architect

  • Demonstrates strong leadership skills in all stages of the software development life cycle by providing guidance and advisory support to the team on implementation approach and complex configuration issues

  • Works with vendors and employees in a distributed Onshore/Offshore model

  • Responsible for ensuring that the system accurately meets the defined expectations of the business, ensuring that proper testing is implemented

  • Review solution estimate /Level of Effort & SOW and contribute to SOW, validate estimates to support change orders

  • Coordinates with Technical Architects, integration, and data consultants, and others, as needed, for specific technical design requirements

  • Provides sound technical recommendations on third-party applications, new tools and technologies

  • Manages expectations with prospects, clients, Consultants, and SFDC - i.e., be the voice of common sense

  • Establishes solid credibility on behalf of self and with prospects, clients, and SFDC

  • Participate in QA checkpoints during delivery to provide guidance and insure solution aligns with original scope


  • Experience in Salesforce (SFDC) CRM with end to end implementation experience

  • Salesforce.com integration experience, including between different business systems as well as working with integration tools

  • Experience soliciting, gathering and analyzing user input and requirements

  • Experience creating wireframe documents with information architecture

  • Experience authoring requirements, definition and related documentation

  • Experience collaborating with business stakeholders, business process owners, technical project managers and technical teams to execute business analysis tasks

  • Working knowledge of security concepts such as single sign on and data security (Shield)

  • Hands on experience on Agile framework

  • Maintain certifications and continually explore solution capabilities of the Salesforce ecosystem

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

  • Willingness to travel

  • Must be authorized to work for any U.S. employer
